Website Terms and Conditions of Use Relating to www.lifedayspakids.co.za
These Terms and Conditions (“the Terms and Conditions”) govern your (“the User”) use of the Life Day Spa Kids (“Provider”) website located at the domain name www.lifedayspakids.co.za (“the Website”). By accessing and using the Website, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out in this legal notice. The User may not access, display, use, download, and/or otherwise copy or distribute Content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the consent of the Provider.
Spa Etiquette and Policies
- Vouchers are valid for three years from date of purchase.
- Vouchers can be used at any time for treatments (not products) at Life Day Spa Kids. To book please call us on +27 11 465 7777 or contact us on email on [email protected]
- Booking in advance is recommended.
- Right of admission is reserved. Please note guests must be older than 16 years, unless previous arrangements have been made with spa management.
- A 24 hour notice period is required for cancellation and rescheduling. Should cancellation / rescheduling not be made in time the full treatment fee will apply and the voucher will be redeemed.
- Kindly arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment/s to allow time for your to change and fill in our consultation card.
- Guests are welcome to arrive 60 minutes prior to the scheduled treatment to enjoy the complimentary spa facilities. Guest may also enjoy these facilities after the treatment. These facilities are not available for clients who only have Grooming Treatments i.e. Nail Bar and Waxing. Use of the facilities can be purchases for an additional R250 for the day subject to availability.
- We kindly request punctuality. Late Arrival will result in a reduction in treatment time whilst the full treatment fee will apply.
- Please bring your bathing costume.
- Ensure cellular/mobile phones are switched off during treatments.
- All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Vouchers is valid for treatments at the current price. The holder of the voucher will be liable to pay any shortfall on the new price of the treatment on the day of presentation.
- Products purchased are not refundable.
- Life Day Spa Kids will not be held responsible for any theft, damage, loss or misfortune that may occur.

Electronic Communications
By using this Website or communicating with the Provider by electronic means, the user consents and acknowledges that any and all agreements, notices, disclosures, or any other communication satisfies any legal requirement, including but not limited to the requirement that such communications should be in writing.
E-Commerce & Privacy
The Website www.lifedayspakids.co.za sells gift vouchers online. The use of any product or service bought from this Website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser/ user indemnifies and holds the Provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website.
The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product. Credit card details are not kept by the Provider under any circumstances.
The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.
The Provider will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order. The Provider will not be held liable for the condition of goods arriving at the User’s chosen delivery address.
Orders can be couriered to the vast majority of South African addresses, delivered by courier. When you place an order we will arrange delivery to your delivery address as indicated at checkout. Delivery costs are only covered for main centres. Additional fees may apply for addresses not in main centres.
We dispatch all orders, unless otherwise stated within one working day of receiving payment confirmation. If you pay via credit card we receive payment confirmation automatically as soon as you’ve paid. If you pay via EFT or bank deposit, your order will only be dispatched within 24 hours of your payment clearing Courier delivery takes 2 to 7 working days depending on the order’s destination. Courier deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. There are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays. If you live in a main city centre, your order will take between 2-5 days. If you live in a remote area it could take up to 7 days. Please do not hesitate to contact our customer services team if you wish to get a more exact estimate.
If I received goods damaged or broken in transit?
If you do not receive your order in mint condition or if anything is broken or damaged please let us know immediately so that we can ensure the situation is rectified. We have not lost any parcels in the post to date, goods can occasionally be damaged in transit, and there is no question that these will be replaced. We would ask you to take a photo of the damaged item as soon as it is received just this helps our packing team improve the way products are sent in future
If I wish to return something I purchased?
You are welcome to return any good purchased within 7 days of receiving the item. Unfortunately we can only accept goods for return that are still in their original unopened packaging. You will have to pay to have the item couriered or posted back to us, but as soon as we receive it, we will issue you a credit note. Refunds are dealt with on a case-by-case basis and are generally processed within 3 working days.
Online Payment – Virtual Card Services
All online credit card payments are processed by PayGate Online Payment Services. Card Holders may go to www.paygate.co.za to view the security policy.
Refund and Return Policy
Once a voucher has been purchased, no refund will be issued
Updating of these Terms and Conditions
Provider reserves the rights to change, modify, add or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will become effective upon such changes being posted to this Website. It is the User’s obligation to periodically check these Terms and Conditions at the Website for changes or updates. The User’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the User’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including such changes or updates.
Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights
Provider provides certain information at the Website. Content currently or anticipated to be displayed at this Website is provided by Provider, its affiliates and/or subsidiary, or any other third party owners of such content, and includes but is not limited to Literary Works, Musical Works, Artistic Works, Sound Recordings, Cinematography Films, Sound and Television Broadcasts, Program-Carrying Signals, Published Editions and Computer Programs (“the Content”). All such proprietary works, and the compilation of the proprietary works, are copyright the Provider, its affiliates or subsidiary, or any other third party owner of such rights (“the Owners”), and is protected by South African and international copyright laws. The Providers reserve the right to make any changes to the Website, the Content, or to products and/or services offered through the Website at any times and without notice. All rights in and to the Content is reserved and retained by the Owners. Except as specified in these Terms and Conditions, the User is not granted a license or any other right including without limitation under Copyright, Trademark, Patent or other Intellectual Property Rights in or to the Content.
Limitation of liability
The Website and all Content on the Website, including any current or future offer of products or services, are provided on an “as is” basis, and may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. Privacy: casual surfing
The User may visit the Website without providing any personal information. The Website servers will in such instances collect the IP address of the User computer, but not the email address or any other distinguishing information. This information is aggregated to measure the number of visits, average time spent at the Website, pages viewed, etc. Provider uses this information to determine use of the Website, and to improve Content thereon. Choice of Law
